UGC’s official Twitter account has over 2,96,000 followers

The official University Grants Commission (UGC) Twitter account hacked earlier on Sunday, April 10, which was later restored. The unidentified hackers took over UGC’s Twitter account – @ugc_india and posted several irrelevant posts. Hackers made a series of tweets tagging UGC followers. “To celebrate the official Beanz collection reveal, we’ve opened an airdrop to all active NFT traders in the community for the next 24 hours! Welcome to the garden,” read one of the deleted Tweets.
UGC in an official Tweet informed, “UGC official account has been restored.” UGC’s official Twitter account has over 2,96,000 followers.

Recently, the University Grants Commission released draft Four-Year Undergraduate Program (FYUP) Guidelines which seek to revamp the existing UG curriculum starting with the next academic session. The FYUP will replace the current three-year choice-based credit system or CBCS. The commission has asked for suggestions by April 4. The draft guidelines entitled “Curriculum framework and credit system for the four-year undergraduate program” propose common introductory courses in the natural, human and social sciences for the first three semesters, regardless of the students’ choice . to specialize.
