  • For each correct answer, add 4 points
  • For each incorrect answer, minus 1 point

Students can also use the formula below to calculate their NEET scores

Total NEET scores = (Number of correct answers x 4) – (Number of incorrect answers x 1)

How to challenge the NEET 2021 answer key?

NTA will open the question and answer challenge dates in NEET’s published official response key. If applicants find a discrepancy in the response key published of NEET by the NTA, they may raise objections for which they must follow a standard procedure as specified by the NTA.

Applicants will be required to pay a fee of Rs 1000 per response to contest a particular question. Said fees can be paid online with a debit card, credit card or net banking.

After receiving the objections, the NTA will agree to the requests with their experts. If the objection raised is correct, the answer will be corrected. It should be noted that the candidate will be reimbursed in this case.

However, if the objection raised is incorrect, the answer key will remain the same and the final result will be announced on the basis of this answer key. It should be noted that the candidate will not be reimbursed in this case.
