We are actively recruiting a new Research Assistant Professor / Lecturer in Finance.

The ability to effectively teach and communicate financial data analysis methods and the practical implications of data analysis to students with no previous finance experience (such as undergraduates from multiple disciplines), intermediate experience (such as our finance and MSc Finance students) and advanced knowledge (PhD students), is a key requirement for this position. The Arts program, where students take finance as one module among many, is a key part of our student community. Therefore, the ability to engage these students in the joy, practicality, and science of finance is important.

The teaching needs currently include both undergraduate and postgraduate modules. These include individual finance modules in non-financial business degrees, specialized double degrees where finance is one of the majors, specialized degrees in finance, a range of postgraduate university degrees in finance and our graduate program. doctorate.

The successful candidate (s) will have a proven history of teaching, research and publication, appropriate to the stage of their career. Appointees will need to establish a strong research profile that supports the research strategy of the School of Business and the University, including affiliating with research institutes, where appropriate, and working with colleagues on research. national and international. Assistant professor / Lecturer (Post 1995 *): € 55,397 – € 87,724 per year (7 points)

Lecturer (2021): € 35,246 – € 61,595 per year (14 points)

The appointment will be made in accordance with the compensation guidelines of the Department of Finance.

* New entrants in the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the salary scale of lecturer (2021) or of the salary scale of lecturer (post 1995).
