Nurse practitioner sparks outrage after listing cosmetic procedures she would perform on Natalia Dyer

A nurse practitioner sparked outrage online after listing the cosmetic procedures she would perform stranger things star Natalia Dyer alongside an altered version of the actor’s face.

Nurse practitioner Miranda Wilson, who works as an advanced injector in Laguna Beach, California, frequently posts videos on TikTok about the various cosmetic procedures she performs using botox and fillers.

In a recent clip, which has since been deleted from Wilson’s account but is circulating on TwitterWilson decided to share the procedures she would perform on Dyer if Dyer was her client.

After praising Dyer’s performance on the hit Netflix series, the doctor said she would start by “treating those masseters,” which refers to the part of the face that connects the jawline and cheekbones. Wilson then said she would like to work on the sides of the actor’s face to “slim him down.”

She said she would also add “a little chin filler” to the 27-year-old’s face to “help fill out her chin and make her whole face more heart-shaped”, before claim she would “add more” to Dyer’s lips.

“Nothing crazy,” she explained. “Just a nice pout.”

The suggested procedures continued with Wilson saying she would give Dyer a “nice brow lift to help open her eyes” and “complete” the procedure with a filler called Sculptra.

“She seems to have thinner skin and we want to keep her from thinning and creating more collagen,” Wilson said.

The video then shows an image of Dyer’s face digitally edited to show what he would look like after all the cosmetic work suggested by Wilson.

“As we can see, his jaw is thinner,” the advanced injector explained. “Her chin is more pointed and her eyebrows are more raised, and we must love that pout,” she continued, referring to the filler that had been “added” to Dyer’s lips in the digitally altered image. .

She concluded the video with a side-by-side image of Dyer’s initial photo next to the edited one.

As of July 25, the video has over 6.7 million views. Twitter users blasted Wilson and shared how disgusted they are to see a woman remark on how she would change another woman’s face.

“This is an insanely rude thing to do omg,” one person wrote.

“It’s scary and it seems like there are only other women who want this kind of society for us,” said another.

Other viewers then pointed out that Dyer didn’t need any cosmetic work while condemning society’s beauty standards.

“‘Let’s make everyone look as similar as possible’ isn’t quite the positive to me that she thinks it would be,” one person wrote. “I can’t imagine looking at a beautiful face like that and thinking ‘how can I make it more generic’… Let people be themselves as much as possible.”

“That’s why everyone looks alike. Y’all obsessed with a face shape and face type like wtf,” another added.

A third person asked, “Aren’t people allowed to look unique and different?” Plus, his end result is literally the exact shape of megamind’s fucking head. What the h*** makes someone do and post this.

The Independent contacted Wilson and a Dyer representative for comment.
