Illinois State University is updating its FAQs on the Coronavirus website by answering frequently asked questions about the start of the spring semester.

The Illinois Department of Public Health said Dec. 30 it approved the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated quarantine and isolation requirements. The ISU plans to share more information soon on considering CDC quarantine and isolation requirements.

Updated actions for the spring semester 2022

All classes will be online January 10-21. There will be some exceptions on a case-by-case basis to the online requirement. ISU advises students to regularly check their emails after course updates.

All ISU facilities and offices will reopen on Monday.

No one who tests positive for COVID-19 should return to campus until they have completed the appropriate isolation period.

COVID-19 mitigation measures will be implemented during scheduled events on campus.

There are specific instructions for ISU students and specific instructions for faculty and staff as the spring semester approaches. The full campus email address below explains these instructions.
