DUBAI, Aug 22, 2021 (WAM) – The Federal Government Human Resources Authority (FAHR) today issued a circular to all federal ministries and entities, regarding the modification of certain procedures to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic at the federal government level, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
The modified procedure will be implemented from Sunday, August 29, 2021.
The Authority explained that all federal government employees are required to perform a “PCR test” nasal swab test every (48) hours, with the exception of employees who have received the two doses of the COVID-vaccine. 19.
Employees who have obtained a medical report from the country’s official health authorities indicating that they cannot receive the COVID-19 vaccine, due to their medical condition, are excluded from the new procedures, provided the employee is ” undertakes to perform a PCR test every (48) hours.
The circular added that outsourced companies and utility companies contracted out by federal government entities (now and in the future) must perform PCR testing every (48) hours for their employees working full-time in government offices, at the expense of these companies.
Employees who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be exempt.
Regarding consultants and experts who are required to attend meetings or be present at government office premises, the circular stressed that federal authorities are required to confirm the results of recent PCR tests carried out in the (48 hours), with the exception of those who took two doses. vaccine.
