Senior Nigerian lawyer Ernest Ojukwu said that while education has a strong link to the quality of leadership in the country, education alone cannot explain good leadership.

“We have a large population of educated people in Nigeria, but the quality of education also matters, the orientation the people have been exposed to, the culture and values. an have these values based on honesty, sincerity and decency, you will always have a problem with leadership, ”Ojukwu said.

“There are too many educated Governors, Senators and House of Representatives, but that hasn’t changed the quality of leadership.
“Education in itself is not responsible for good leadership,” he stressed.
The senior pastor of Trinity House, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, and the Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia, Prof. Munzali Jibril, also spoke about the link between the quality of education and its impact on leadership in the country.
