Dividend payment procedure


The general meeting of shareholders held on March 30, 2022 approved the allocation of the profit of Šiaulių Bankas AB which included a payment of dividends – 0.034 euro will be paid for each ordinary registered share with a nominal value of 0.29 euro. Dividends will be paid to persons who were shareholders of Šiaulių Bankas AB at the end of the registration day – April 13, 2022.

The Bank will pay the dividends on April 27, 2022 according to the following procedure:
– shareholders whose shares are accounted for in securities accounts with banks and financial brokerage companies providing investment services will receive an amount of dividends after deduction of personal income tax or tax on company profits in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, which will be transferred to accounts with respective banks or financial brokerage companies;

– for shareholders whose shares are accounted for in Šiaulių Bankas AB in the accounting of the issuer, the amount of dividends, after deduction of personal income tax or income tax in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, will be transferred to the account specified by the shareholder. If the shareholder has not indicated an account for the transfer of dividends, he must submit a request for transfer of dividends. Applications are accepted from April 13, 2022 at all customer service points of Šiaulių Bankas AB. Before going to customer service, it is necessary to register for an online visit at https://sb.lt/en or by telephone on 1813. Requests for payment of dividends can also be submitted via the bank’s e-banking.

Taxation of dividends:
– Dividends of natural persons residing in the Republic of Lithuania and foreign countries are subject to 15% of the rate of personal income tax;

– Dividends from legal entities resident in the Republic of Lithuania and foreign countries are subject to 15% of the corporate income tax rate, unless otherwise provided by laws.
