Lucknow: After completing the process of recruiting more than 1.25 lakh of teachers in public schools under the basic education department, the UP government on Friday formed a three-member committee to review the recruitment process to fill the remaining vacant teaching posts within a deadline. tied way.
In accordance with the guidelines of CM Yogi Adityanath, the committee will research the details of vacant positions in state-run primary and higher schools and also work on the creation of new positions.
The committee is chaired by the chairman of the Revenue Board with the secretary of basic education and the secretary of the board of basic education as members. It has been asked to submit a detailed report on the vacant posts in education in the near future.
In a high-level meeting with officials from the basic education department on Friday, CM inquired about teaching and learning activities in schools after the resumption of regular classes for students in grades 1. to 5 from September 1st.
Emphasizing the need to harness the potential of newly inducted teachers, Yogi also told officials to maintain the ideal teacher-student ratio in schools.
